Since 1990, the EDUCATION FUND has donated $410,000 to support educational programs in the Crescenta-Canada Valley

Crescenta Valley High School STEM/Robotics Program​
​
The STEM/Robotics Program at Crescenta Valley High School serves 150 students annually. 40% of the program's participants are female, which is double the national average. The Mary Pinola & Crescenta Valley Chamber Education Fund is proud to have provided funds for the purchase of a 3D printer and CNC milling machine for the program. In the video below, the robotics program's director, Heather Abrams, shows us their facility and latest project.

YMCA of the Foothills

​In 2023, the Fund made a grant of $3,200 to purchase SPROGS Kids Light-Up Sensory Tables for four preschool classrooms. The interactive tables encourage learning and development of language and motor skills through exploration, curiosity, problem solving and creativity.

Living Beauty Cancer Foundation​
​
The Living Beauty Cancer Foundation provides free wellness and support services to more than 1,700 women with all types of cancer. These transformational programs include overnight wellness retreats, day retreats, movement classes, nutrition, yoga 4 cancer and more, as well as sisterhood-building events for women to develop a community of support.
In 2024, the Mary Pinola & Crescenta Valley Chamber Education Fund made a grant of $5,000 to underwrite the cost of an online virtual space that will allow women who are undergoing cancer treatments to connect with one another and more easily access programs.
